Import selected products while The Whereabouts remains the payment and commission record.
- Step 1Open Connect Existing Store.
- Step 2Choose WooCommerce or Shopify.
- Step 3Create least-privilege API credentials in the source store.
- Step 4Test the connection and run the first manual sync.
- Step 5Review imported pending products before publication and monitor sync warnings.
Launch the seller account
- Open Seller shop in My Whereabouts and complete the store profile, logo, banner, contact details, policies and trading schedule.
- Open Payout details and save the South African account holder, account type, account number, branch code and bank name.
- Set the store shipping or collection methods you will fulfil. The vendor remains responsible for delivery, returns and customer service.
- Add products manually or connect an existing supported store. Check titles, prices, stock, images, variants and categories after import.
- Place a test order and follow it through New, Processing and Completed. Only completed orders become available for payout.
Product quality checklist
- Use a square main image with clean margins and additional gallery images.
- Write a specific title, useful description, dimensions, warranty and what is included.
- Keep stock accurate and never mark an order completed before it has been fulfilled.
