References to “The Whereabouts”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Owlytic (Pty) Ltd in its capacity as platform operator, publisher or direct service provider, as the context requires. The statutory Information Officer is the head of Owlytic (Pty) Ltd.

Subject to applicable retention and confidentiality rules, categories may include company and governance records; contracts; finance, tax and accounting records; personnel records; supplier and service-provider records; intellectual property; website, security and technology records; customer and seller accounts; listings and editorial records; advertising bookings; subscriptions and consents; orders, payment status, commission, refunds and payouts; support, complaint and legal correspondence; and policies and compliance records.
Records available without a formal request
Public website pages, published listings, public policies, public editorial content and information made available through an authenticated user’s own account may be accessed through the ordinary website process, subject to privacy and security controls.
How to request access
Submit the prescribed PAIA request form, identify the record sufficiently, state the right you seek to exercise or protect and explain why the record is required. Include proof of identity and authority where acting for another person, the preferred access form and contact details. Prescribed request and access fees may apply.
Grounds for refusal and remedies
A request may be refused where PAIA permits or requires it, including protection of another person’s privacy, confidential commercial information, safety, legally privileged material or information that cannot reasonably be found. If access is refused or no decision is received within the statutory period, the requester may use the remedies available under PAIA, including approaching a competent court and, where applicable, the Information Regulator.
Availability
This Manual is available free on this website and for inspection at the company address by prior arrangement. Copies may attract the lawful reproduction charge.
