Advertising Terms
Booking, content, payment and publication rules for magazine and website advertising.
Effective 28 July 2026 · Last updated 28 July 2026
Advertiser and authority
The person booking warrants that it is authorised by the advertiser and owns or has permission to use every supplied logo, image, trade mark, claim, offer and link. Advertising must be lawful, accurate, substantiated, safe and not misleading, discriminatory, defamatory or infringing.
Magazine rates
A three-month magazine booking is paid in full in advance and receives the stated 20% discount. BNI members and current Owlytic marketing-retainer clients qualify for 20% off the standard magazine rate after verification. Discounts cannot be combined. Prices are final and no VAT is added by Owlytic while it is not VAT registered.
Website advertising rates
Website adverts are clearly labelled “Sponsored”. Placement is for the booked calendar month and may rotate with other advertisers where the selected position has more than one available space. Screen size, responsive layout, ad blockers, maintenance and inventory can affect the exact display dimensions or impression count.
Deadline, artwork and approval
Booking, cleared payment and final content are due by the 15th for the applicable upcoming month or magazine issue. The magazine is scheduled for publication on the 25th. Basic magazine advert design includes up to two reasonable revision rounds. Late or incomplete content may be moved to the next available month, resized, credited or cancelled at Owlytic’s reasonable discretion.
Owlytic may reject or request changes to unlawful, deceptive, unsafe, offensive, technically harmful or rights-infringing material. This is compliance review, not editorial preference. A paid, compliant booking supplied by the deadline receives the booked type of placement, subject to availability and these Terms.
No performance guarantee
Advertising buys placement and distribution, not a guaranteed number of views, leads, sales, rankings or business results. Audience and engagement can vary.
Cancellation and credits
Before work or inventory is committed, a cancellation may be considered on written request. After design work starts, the booking deadline passes, reserved inventory becomes unavailable to others, or publication/display begins, fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. If Owlytic cannot provide the booked placement for reasons within its control, the remedy is a reasonable replacement placement, reschedule or pro-rata credit/refund. Payment-provider fees already incurred may be deducted where lawful and disclosed.
