Caritas protects children, strengthens families and helps communities build safer, more hopeful futures through social services, therapy, early learning, residential care and practical support.

Caritas began in Kimberley in 1890 as Newton Home. Today, the same commitment to safety and dignity reaches children, families, ECD practitioners and communities through specialised teams and local partnerships.

Caritas means charity or acts of love. Here, love becomes practical: a safe place, a skilled professional, a meal, a lesson, a listening ear, a family supported before a crisis grows.
